German Treenware Piggins, Buckets and Container Grouping #196-38 SOLD

Status: Sold
Description:
This rare grouping is a matching set of treenware piggins, buckets and containers, 5 of which have hand-carved handles with bands of fuchsia colored decorative recessed metallic trimming. These pieces are in the hard to find 1" scale, in lovely condition with great early patina. The 6th piece is a low, undecorated container, matching in patina to the other pieces. Great for the early dollhouse or a kitchen roombox. Made in Germany, 1900 or possibly earlier. Height of tallest piece is 2 1/2" at top of handles. The shortest piggin is 1 1/2" at top of handle. The low piece is 1/2" tall. Very unique with this type of decoration and very hard to find, especially a matching set with so many pieces.
