Status: Sold
Description:
This darling little girl snuggling up to her cat is a pin cushion or half doll with 2 sew holes. She is exceedingly rare...very few half dolls were made with a child with her pet animal. She has her arms wrapped around him with her head tilted toward him very lovingly. This was made in Germany c. 1910 by the firm of Conte & Boehme. She has a blue head band with a large bow in her light brown hair with curls in the front framing her face. She has an open/closed mouth and her dress is yellow edged in green. Height is 2 1/2". Excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. No markings. Very rare item.
