Description:
Twin all-bisque baby dolls made by the German firm Hertwig. Darling little babies clutching molded and painted green ribbons, both of which are alike, like identical twins would be. Molded hair and features, great chubby bellies with belly buttons and toddler legs. Heads are both slightly tilted as if looking to the side with molded light brown hair with top-knots and side curls and sweetly painted facial features. These would make a perfect pair as dolls for a dollhouse doll as they are only 1 1/8" high. Marked Germany on the back as shown. Also shown with a dollhouse doll (sold separately) for size comparison so that one can see they are perfect as dolls for a dollhouse doll, possibly in a nursery or elsewhere in a dollhouse. Great condition.
