Description:
This sweet little wooden train would make a wonderful accessory at the bottom of a Christmas tree, as an accessory for a boy doll, in a town scene or just displayed by itself. It consists of a red engine with black wooden wheels and smoke stack. The yellow car with red wheels in the middle has written on it "Chicago and North Western R.Y. 16994 The Northwestern Line Refrigerator." The caboose is red with yellow wooden wheels and has "Pennsylvania 19265" written on it. Nice condition with just a little bit of wear, this item was made in the 1920--1930's period. Engine is 3 1/2" long and 1 3/4" high to top of stack, car is 3 1/4" long and caboose is 2 3/4" long. Each has metal hooks so that all cars can be attached to each other.
