The white porcelain soap dish has 2 raised protrusions to keep the soap from melting in dripping water, just like a real soap dish. The ealy soap is a light brown and unevenly cut, again just like the original early hand made soaps. Great for the early washstands which usually were in bedrooms, or for a bathroom or a kitchen. Size is: 5/8" wide, 7/8" long. Excellent condition. Made in Germany. Pictured on a 1" scale German Schneegas side board, which is sold separately.
