Description:
Very well made gold-colored metal tableware in 1" scale made by miniaturist artist Ellen Blauer, the wife of John Blauer, specifically for the well-known and documented Maynard Manor. Maynard Manor and its contents were sold in 2001 and I was able to purchase portions of the collection. These pieces I have had in my possesion since that time. I believe Ellen made these in the 1960's or 1970's and did much of her miniature work in metals. They are pictured on a 1" scale Toncoss dry sink, which is sold separately. The gold tableware grouping consists of a bowl with cover (picture with cover on and off), a pedestaled bowl, a stein and and plate. All in good condition. These pieces are tiny, the pedestal bowl being a mere 3/8" high.
