Description:
Warren Dick was a well-known and respected miniaturist working in Sedona, Arizona, during the 1950's and 1960's. He made 1" scale hand made and hand rubbed dollhouse furniture from fine quality cherry wood with a wonderful smooth finish. He was a member of IGMA and his work is sought after today. This is a lovely child-sized wing chair and is signed on the bottom in gold: W. Dick, as shown in the photo. The wing chair is also shown with a girl child sitting in it and a lady made by Caco standing. The child is 1" scale and 3" tall, and the lady is also 1" scale and is 5 1/4" tall. (The dolls are sold separately.)The chair itself is 3 1/8" high. Excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. Lovely form with nice cutouts at the side legs.
