Description:
Lovely dollhouse young lady made by the German firm of Kestner around 1920. She wears a splendid 2-piece light blue silk outfit with a tiny woven design and a deeper blue long neck scarf. Her skirt is pleated with her long top coming down to cover the waistline, so typical of the early 1920's era. She has pale peach cuffs at her wrists. Her light brown molded hair is in the style of a short pageboy style with side part again so typical of the era. Her serene expression is delicately hand painted. She wears molded black pumps. This young lady is ready to take charge of the children of the dollhouse. 4 7/8" high, beautiful condition with no breaks, repairs, or hairlines. Her outfit is very special. The young lady is also pictured with a blue and silver German heater 3 1/4" high with handle up for size comparison. Heater is sold separately.
