Teak Table with Oriental Decorations #171-06

Status: Available Price: $129.00
Description:
What a wonderful early vignette, in the 1" scale, which consists of a hand-carved teak long, narrow table, with 3 marvelous tiny items sitting on top of the table. In the center is an exquisite Chinese goddess carved from wood and enameled in gold, with highlights. On the right side is an Oriental Spirit Screen, made from semi-precious stones depicting a garden with a lady on an elaborate teak carved base--fantastic workmanship for such a small item. The third item on the left a wonderful dropping silk flower arrangement in a natural straw basket. All these items look to be from the early 1900's. Items are permanently affixed to the top of the table. Very nice condition, with no breaks or repairs. Height of table alone is 2 7/8" high and length of table is 6 1/8". The Spirit Screen has a paper label on the back marked: China. Imports into the U.S. after 1892 required that all items be marked country of origin.
