Made from high quality bisque in Germany in 1913. Sweet little expression with eyes looking to the side. He sits on a white bisque base molded with his body. Mandolin is light brown with prominent strings. 2 1/4" high. Paper label on back is marked: Kewpie, Rose O'Neill, 1913, Germany and other pertinent copyright information. Beautiful condition with no breaks or repairs. The steam release tiny opening, part of the manufacturing process, can be see at his bottom on the picture showing the back.
