Description:
Sweet little German baby, all bisque, and is what is referred to as painted bisque, which has not been fired in, from the 1930's. She has a darling little face with bright blue eyes and an open mouth as if she is baby talking. Hair is painted a short, dark blond with some molded curls in the back. She is marked Germany on the back of the neck. She wears her original little pink dress with matching collar. Her arms and legs are wire jointed. Overall length is 2 7/8". Nice condition...I only detect a few very minor paint rubs on the back of the legs. Pictured on a Strombecker child's bed (bed is not for sale) for size comparison.
