Description:
This is a beautiful figure of a young girl with a gorgeous face with a serene expression. She clasps her hands in the front of her. Her blond hair is beautifully molded with curls coming down her forehead and a spray of curls all along the back, with brush marks at the top. She has a molded gold necklace and molded gold bracelet, an unusual feature in these types of figures. Pale blue flowing dress and pink molded boots. She stands 7 1/4". Made in Germany, c.1870. This beauty came from the fabulous collection of Dolores Smith. So delicate and fine, this is German artisans at their height. There is a faint blue mark underneath, but I can't make it out. The photographs do not do justice to this love young girl.
