Description:
Very well made and attractive dollhouse maid made by the German firm of Kestner c. 1920. She is 5" high, the perfect size for the 1" scale early dollhouse. The maid is in her original costume, navy blue dress with white collar, apron and silk ribbon tie that peeks around from the back. She has bisque molded head with light brown molded hair. Her facial features are very nicely done, good character face with bright blue painted eyes. Her body is cloth and her arms and legs are bisque, with molded black shoes on her feet. She is in great condition with no breaks or repairs. Her clothing shows a tiny bit of aging, but in really nice condition considering her age.
