Simon & Halbig Little Women Head, Large Size, makes 10

Description:
This fabulous marked Simon & Halbig lady's head is from the Little Women series and makes the larger size 10" to 11" size doll. Closed mouth with stationary glass eyes, shoulderhead bisque, with a very beautiful original mohair wig with a braided bun on top back and curls coming down the sides of her face. Marked: S & H 1160/0 on the back of the shoulderplate, 0 on the front bottom. Height of head from bottom of shoulder to top of hair is 3" with the permanently attached original wig. The circumference of the head with the wig is 5 1/8". The head is in fabulous condition with no breaks or hairlines. Needs a cloth body, either an early body or one made by a current sewer. Beautiful expression on her face. This is a really good buy, as a 10" to 11" doll with body is booked in Linda Edward's 10th Value Guide for $725 to $800. Made in German c. 1909
