Description:
This is a large gorgeous Kestner all-bisque girl doll, kneeling and with jointed, movable arms. At 4 3/4" high kneeling, she is a nice large size as most of this type of doll is much smaller in size. c. 1880, made in Germany with the longest, most thick and luscious original blond mohair wig with lovely waves going down her back down to her buttocks I have ever encountered on this type of doll. Lovely serene face with the typical Kestner-style eye and mouth painting. Her dress is light pink highlighted by darker pink. Her arms are jointed and are movable. She is in great condition with no breaks or repairs. This doll came from the fabulous collection of Dolores Smith.
