Description:
This little sweetheart of a bear has that "take me home" expression on his face--his amber glass eyes have that almost pleading look about them. His great long white mohair stends to curl giving him such an appealing look, especially around his eyes. This little guy is quite early, c. 1920-25, due to his long arms. Produced in Germany during the height of the teddy bear craze, the manufacturer of this sweetie is not know. He has white felt paw pads with no claws. His unusually stitched nose is light brown and is accented by two black stitches on the sides, quite an unusual feature......a feature which has not been seen by me in my many years of selling early teddy bears. His fur and pads are in quite good condition, with some minor loss around his nose, most likely from being kissed by a loving child. He is 10" high, a nice size to display with other bear friends.
