The Silver Medal was written by Aunt Laura whose name was Frances Elizabeth Barrow and published by Breed, Butler & Co., in Buffalo in 1863, as written on the title page. The complete book has 64 pages and tells a story of a young girl and how she desired to win a Silver Medal award. Very nice condition. Size is 1 3/16" wide by 1 5/8" high. These early miniature books are so difficult to find. Perfect for the early dollhouse.
