She is 12", made from wood, with wood arms and legs and a hard-stuffed cloth body, fully jointed at neck, arms and legs, so that she is posable. Hand painted face, lots of curls and topknot. Marked on the back of the head: Patti Hale, NIADA, '84. Original sweet clothing with labeled tag, by Patti Hale as shown. There is a small flaw on the left side over lip. Kewpies were originally designed by Rose O'Neill and they have been popular since the 1910's.
