Tynietoy Blue High Chair #T35

Status: Available Price: $125.00
Description:
What a darling high chair made by the firm of Tynietoy from Providence, R.I. Lovely blue color and beautifully hand painted with delicate deep rose and pink roses with green leaves and deep mustard yellow outlining. The hand painting was done with much skill. This chair is in excellent condition and very finely done. Overall height is 3 1/2" at highest point. Several years ago I wrote a two-part article for Antique Doll Collector analyzing the high quality hand painting done by the Tynietoy people who decorated their dollhouse furniture. If I had had this particular piece at the time, it would certainly would have been included in that article for the excellent workmanship in this particular piece. Excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. This piece is not marked with their logo, as, frankly, it would have been virtually impossible to impress their mark on the underside for lack of enough space.
