Kestner Victorian Dollhouse Mother in original outfit #196-30 SOLD

Status: Sold
What a splendid mother figure for the Victorian dollhouse. She was made by the German firm of Kestner c. 1895, wearing her all original factory-made clothing of striped dress with laced apron and high neckline and poofed sleaves. She has molded light brown hair with curls coming down over her forhead. Delicately painted face with a faint smile, as if she is thinking, "All's well with the dollhouse." She is 6 1/2" tall, bisque head, arms and legs with 2-strap molded black shoes and white stockings. All original slip and drawers underneath. She is in beautiful condition, with no breaks or repairs. These all-original dollhouse occupants are getting harder and harder to find.
