Description:
Great Schafer & Vater porcelain piece designed by Grace Drayton, with her typical googly eyes and pug nose & with chubby cheeks (just like the Campbell's kids). Depicted is a boy telling a secret by whispering in her ear. He has blue overall and a white handkerchief sticking out of his back pocket, while she wears a yellow dress with hand painted flowers, orange boots and a large pink bow in her hair. The front is incised "Don't Tell Anyone." Her googly eyes are looking to the side, with her finger at her mouth with an expression that conveys, "So who I am going to tell first?" Marked with the Schafer & Vater logo on the bottom. Height is 4", length is 3". The back shows that this great porcelain piece is a container. Great condition with no breaks or repairs. Great whimsical piece.
