Description:
Beautifully hand made doll's washstand, all solid wood with an exquisitely hand made brass handle with elaborate escutcheon on the bottom pull out drawer, which is shown close up. Signed on the bottom: E. K. Hozie. Lovely turned uprights with scalloped edges all over, this piece is truly a work of art. Lovely medium brown stained finish. 6 1/2" high at the highest portion of the backsplash, 4 1/2" wide and 4 1/4" deep. This is a lovely piece, but it is not perfect--there is an age fracture on the right hand side at top which can be seen in the photos. The last photo pictures the washstand with the 2 other E. K. Hozie pieces I have available and also pictured with a 13" early china head doll for size comparison. All items are sold separately.
