Description:
Fabulous half doll or pin cushion lady made by the firm of Dressel & Kister, mark shown, with a wonderful hair style of braids wrapped around her head which cross on the back bottom portion with two yellow bows and a maroon colored head band on top with great detailing on the hair including a center part. Face is superbly done with great modeling and hand painted features. Glazed porcelain with pink tint. Made c. 1910. Overall height is 3 3/4 inches. She needs a pair of arms; there are no cracks, hairlines or repairs. I display her in my cabinet as she is and she looks wonderful with the other half dolls. The stand does not come with the doll.
