Nicely executed steeple mantel clock made by R.T. Kirkland under the name of Dolly Dear. Made in the 1940's, this clock has a paper face and a lovely hand painted design of flowers at the bottom. It was made from a plaster-type material and painted brown to simulate wood. Gold-gilt outlines around the face and decoration. Beautiful piece and in superb condition. Height is 1 3/4". A portion of an old paper label is on the back.
