Tiny Copper Teapot Made from Penny SOLD

Status: Sold
Description:
Very unusual hanging teapot hand formed from a single copper penny, from the early 1900's. This is very small; height to top of cover handle is a scant 9/16 inch; height including the top swinging handle is 3/4". All hand formed using simple tools and an early penny. Nice condition with great early patina. Numerous forms were made and all of them on the bottoms show a portion of the penny from which it was made. All items made from copper pennies are very hard to find.
