Caco Baby in Wicker Bed with Canopy #199-33

Status: Available Price: $105.00
Description:
What a darling ensemble consisting of a Caco baby laying in a wicker bed with original blue and white checked canopy decorated with lace and blue ribbons c. 1950. The original canopy is held on by metal wire. The inside mattress is a lovely deep blue velvet. The Caco baby has a sweet little face, with metal hands and metal blue painted baby shoes and she wears her original pink baby gown. Her original blue blanket is edged with pink thread and a pink ribbon to match and the blanket is stitched to the pink baby gown so that it is permanently attached. The wicker bed is wonderful and is very faintly marked West Germany on the bottom; I used a magnifying glass to see it. The baby is 2 1/8" long and in beautiful condition. 1" scale great for the mid-1900's dollhouse. Bed is 3 3/4" long and 5 1/4" high to the top of the canopy. Very minimal wear or aging.
