Description:
What a fantastic and rare early dollhouse doll made by the well respected firm of Kestner in Germany, c. 1900. He wears his wonderful original black felt tuxedo with vest and white shirt that have Dresden paper buttons and even a black stitch across his vest to represent a watch fob. On his arm is stitched a cloth, just like butlers of old. High paper collar. He has a great character face with striking brown eyes and molded curly hair. Great condition with no breaks or hairlines. 5 1/2" high. He would make a wonderful addition to an early dollhouse. Also pictured with an early German 1" scale tea set and early dining room table (sold separately).
