Description:
A hand made windsor chair with splendid detailing in a smaller size perfect for a child's room or a smaller scale dollhouse. It is signed: Ont. Canada, RB, and there is a maple leaf impressed on the bottom as shown in the photo. Pictured with a Caco child that is one inch scale, who is 3" high, for size comparison. Beautiful detailing on the turned legs and bracing and the curvatures of the seat. I believe this was made perhaps sometime in the 1960's, but I am not sure exactly when. It has been in my personal collection for many years. This windsor chair is very fine and delicate and has a stained, matte finish. The height of the chair is 2 7/8", almost 3" high.
