Description:
I believe this pewter bowl is of American manufacture, possibly Peter Pia or one of his contemporaries, Adrian Cooke, or E. W. Blatchford, as described in Patty Cooper's book "American Soft Metal Dollhouse Furniture, 1890-1920." c. 1890. Nice impressed design of lines and a circle of tiny flowers at the interior bottom. One inch scale, 7/8" diameter. Well made and early. Would look lovely in an early dollhouse table or sideboard. Pictured with an early Craftsman style desk with a lovely fruit bowl (each is sold separately).
