Description:
This is one of the best all original ensembles for a bathing beauty I have come across. Not only is her pose, with one leg higher than the other, very unusual, but she sits in her original woven beach chair. She also wears her original costume, silk bathing outfit with the matching silk bathing cap. She is fully protected from the sun with high backed beach chair. She was made in Germany, c. 1920, by the firm of Hertwig. All is in lovely condition with no breaks or repairs. This is truly a rare and unusual ensemble, chair and bathing beauty. Overall height to the top of the chair is 4 1/2". Width at bottom of chair is 2".
