Description:
What a lovely flapper lady holding a molded very colorful bird, possibly a small parrot with long tail with spread wings in one hand. She has black bobbed hairstyle with fishhooks coming across her cheeks and long dangly earings hanging down from her hair. Very pretty face on this doll, with delicately formed hands. She is on her original pin cushion base with original pink silk skirt with blue ribbon....portions of the pink silk is melting, but still all intact, so I have left it as is, to maintain the originality of piece. The base can easily be removed if desired. The porcelain doll with bird is in excellent condition. Back is marked Germany. Both arms are away from the body. This is a lovely and rare half doll. c. 1920. Overall height is 5"
