Beautifully-made upholstered high-back arm chair made by the reknown artist Betty Valentine. Lovely brocade upholstery which has a soft beige background with lovely green stems and leaves and soft gold flowers. The upholstery goes all the way around the back making a lovely chair from all views. The wood is mahogany with a very nice finish with delicately curved arms. This chair is from either the 1960's or 1970's and is in wonderful condition, all beautifully clean. Signed on the bottom with her initials: BSV. Height of this chair is 3 1/2 inches. Ms. Valentine's work is getting harder and harder to find. This chair came from my own personal long-time collection.
