Description:
What a lovely lady doll with a splendid white Edwardian style dress trimmed with lace made by the German firm of Kestner, c. 1905-10 period. She is unusual for a number of reasons. Her bisque shoulder plate comes down deep and her arms are all bisque and jointed, attached to the deep shoulder plate. Also she has a light blond wig with a swept up hairdo with braiding on the top front. She has a sweet, delicately painted face with a serene expression. Long slender neck and beautiful delicate hands. She is 5 3/4" high. Her body is cloth and she has molded 1 strap shoes with low heels. Beautiful condition with no breaks, repairs or hairlines. There is a little bit of thinnning on her hair in the back which can be seen in the photo.
