Description:
What a darling porcelain piano baby with a sweet serene with so much detailing on the face, crisp sharp modeling that he had to have been made new in the mold during construction. Both his arms are up as if he is just about to stretch. Blue intaglio eyes with healthy, rosy cheeks. Molded light brown hair with a swirl coming down on his forehead, his ankles are crossed and he has very shapely legs, knees, toes and fingers.....just beautifully done. He wears a white gown edged with pink molded ribbon around his neck. A nice larger size, he is 6 1/2" high and approximately 6" long. Made in Germany by Gbr. Heubach c. 1910 era. Beautiful condition with no breaks or repairs. This would make a lovely addition for the Heubach collector.
