Description:
This lovely larger size Galluba & Hofmann bathing beauty is one of the most beautifully executed models I have ever seen. Her face is truly a work of art as shown in the photos. Delicately and finely painted, her gorgeous face is serene and satisfied. And what a pose! She is blocking the sun from her eyes with her right arm up. Beautiful execution of her body. She wears molded white, one-strap slippers. Her lush mohair wig is original and she has a net scarf on one side of her head which is also original. She was made in Germany c. 1912. Marked with numbers on the back. 5" long and 3 1/2" high in the sitting position. Great condition with no breaks or repairs.
